Steel Valley Trenching and Excavating LLC was built on a foundation of years of real-world experience in the heavy equipment industry. After over a decade operating machinery as a Local 66 operating engineer, I saw firsthand how often plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, and homeowners needed dependable trenching and excavation services they could trust.
That inspired me to create a company focused on filling that gap — offering fast, accurate, and professional utility excavation throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania. Meet the Owner
My name is Danny, and I’m the owner-operator of Steel Valley Trenching and Excavating LLC. I’ve been a proud member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 66 since 2014, entering & completing the Heavy Equipment Operators Apprenticeship program straight out of high school at 18 years old. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive hands-on experience operating & working on heavy equipment, learning the values of safety, precision, and professionalism that guide my work today.
I started this company with a simple mission: to provide reliable, precise, and affordable trenching and excavation services for homeowners and contractors across Southwestern Pennsylvania. Whether it’s digging utility lines, preparing foundations, or supporting local tradesmen, I take pride in delivering work that’s done right the first time.
